Promotional operation in China26/06/2014 - 29/06/2014

Aiming to promote the Principality's dynamic business place in China, the Monaco Chamber of Economic Development (CDE) took part in Monaco Week, organised by the Yacht Club, in Shanghai from 26 to 28 June. Alongside other institutions and Monegasque companies, the CDE was there to meet Chinese businessmen and key economic players on 27 June, the day set aside to focus on the economy. Trade Mission to Gabon 21/06/2014 - 26/06/2014

The Monaco Chamber of Economic Development (CDE) led a delegation of 20 Monaco entrepreneurs representing 12 companies to Libreville in Gabon from 21 to 26 June. The group was led by Vincent Lozza, General Manager CDE Membership Development & Services, and was arranged with Michel Valette, Monaco’s Consul in Libreville, and Riccardo Giraudi, Gabon Consul in Monaco. The businessmen and women taking part are involved in banking-finance-insurance, consultancy, international trade, security, ICT and logistics. They are already operating in the Gabon and sub-Saharan region, and are on the mission to expand their business or support Monaco companies in situ. 21ème Rendez-Vous des Adhérents de la CDE, Et toujours autant de succès !16/06/2014

Around 180 members of the Monaco Chamber of Economic Development (CDE) gathered last week at the Monte-Carlo Beach for the 21st Members Rendezvous, an opportunity to network and keep abreast of what is going on at the CDE. In his speech, Michel Dotta expanded on the contribution to the Principality’s thriving economy made by the CDE, which is in the middle of a particularly full agenda this year both at home and abroad. On 3 June, a CDE delegation accompanying HSH Prince Albert II’s official visit to the Netherlands had plenty of opportunities to meet entrepreneurs and institutions at a very high level. As part of an official visit by HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco to the Netherlands, the Monaco Chamber of Economic Development (CDE) was in The Hague on 3 June with a delegation of Monaco entrepreneurs for meetings and to sign a partnership with the Dutch employers’ federation (VNO-NCW). Led by its Chairman Michel Dotta, the CDE delegation included around a dozen representatives of companies working in the finance, raw materials, food processing and renewable energy sectors.
